Announcing the Plan for a New Healing Center
On behalf of Christian Healing Ministries, I am delighted to announce that we have plans to build a new healing center! Not only do we have plans, but they are already set in motion, and we hope that you can take part in them.
As you probably know, we have long outgrown the facility we have occupied for nearly 20 years and our staff of 18 is faithfully doing their work in crowded rooms. Our need for a new facility does not simply come from having grown in numbers, though: our desire for a new facility comes from the larger vision of what we believe God wants to accomplish through CHM. We believe that Jesus has given us this vision and now it’s up to us to do all we can to help make it happen.
We already have gathered a gifted capital campaign committee, headed by CHM Board member Jim Francis and we encourage you to contribute to CHM in order to make this large vision become a reality!
Love in Christ,
Francis and Judith
Please note: If you are able to monetarily contribute to this campaign, please designate "New Healing Center" on the memo line of your check.
A Sign of the Future Church
At our leaders’ conference in Denver last October, a priest told us the encouraging news that a priest on the faculty at the seminary there teaches the students about healing prayer and uses two of my books as texts. Hopefully, this is a sign of the future church, returning to the early tradition of the church when healing prayer was the norm!
"I read your original Healing book when it first came out. Then I saw you at a conference in south Florida. I was having asthma. You told me where it comes from (un-cried tears), laid hands on me, and said a simple prayer. I was healed. That was many years ago."
School of Healing Prayer for Leaders
We have such high hopes that marvelous things will take place at this school that we are offering scholarships for many registrants. If you would like to contribute to this tax deductable fund, please earmark your donation for the ICCRS fund.
Alumni Network
For several years, we have been working on putting together a program known as the Alumni Network. The Alumni Network has been created to link together the CHM graduates that have attended any of the levels of the School of Healing Prayer on or off the CHM campus, as well as the Emerging Leaders in Healing, for the purpose of encouraging and connecting one another in the healing ministry. If you have taken the SHP Level I, II, or III off campus, we do require a letter of verification from the instructor, church or ministry from which you received the training.
What are the benefits of the Alumni Network?
• The Network provides a greater level of communication among graduates.
• All members will receive special teachings that will encourage their spiritual growth and ministries.
• Alumni have the opportunity to communicate directly with fellow alumni via the online forum.
• As soon as we have our database updated with current contact information for all alumni, each registered member will receive a printed copy of our Alumni Directory, which will provide you with contact information for fellow alumni from around the world. We hope to have this published shortly after the first of the year.
• Each member will receive a copy of the alumni newsletter, Branches, which we hope to publish on a monthly basis.
• All registered alumni receive a 10% discount off any purchase made in the Bookstore.
To register for CHM’s Alumni Network, please visit our website at http://www.christianhealingmin.org/alumni.htm or contact Mary Kleist at (904) 765-3332 to request a registration form by mail.
Harold Bradeson
We just received news that the well-known pioneer in charismatic renewal, Harold Bradeson, has recently died. Much of John Sherrill’s famous book, They Speak With Other Tongues (Chosen Books), is devoted to remarkable stories about Harold’s boldness in bringing the gift of tongues back into common Christian usage.
